The following are the current APPTA Clubs. If you have an interest that isn't covered here, please feel free to start your own club or group! Contact Sandy Kantorak for more information about any of the clubs.
- Book Club: Meets once a month on various nights, usually at 7 pm. One person picks a book and chooses the meeting place, usually at a restaurant, bar or coffee shop. This person usually facilitates discussion.
- Bunco Club: 12 people per club. Meets once a month the same night each month (ie second Wednesday of the month). 12 members so each person hosts it at their house one month of the year.
- Craft Group: Meets at various dates and times. Watch the newsletter for dates, times, and locations. For kids (with parent's help.)
- Dad's Night Out: NEW THIS YEAR! Meets once a month on the same night each month (ie. the second Monday of the month). Usually at 7 pm and they pick a bar in the beginning and the guys take it from there.
- Dad's Poker Club: Meets once a month. Guys play poker. :)
- Euchre Club: 6 couples meet at one house every other month. A schedule is made up to show who is to host (once) and whose house you play at each meeting. Different groups meet on different weeks so that teams could easily trade dates if there is a schedule conflict.
- Play Group: Play group is an opportunity for your children to meet other kids, and for moms to meet other moms. Click HERE for a sign up form.
- Movie Club: Meets once a month on various nights. The time depends on the movie. Usually meet 30 minutes prior to start of movie to get tickets and gather so you can sit together. After the movie you are welcome to go out with the group for beverages or head home or to errands if preferred.
- Running Club: NEW THIS YEAR! Details are still being worked out for the new running club. It's likely that there will be different dates & times to accomodate different schedules (and running speeds). Check back for details.
- Scrapbooking Club: Come and join us for an evening of scrapbooking your own photos and socializing. If you are a veteran or you are curious as to how it is done we welcome you! We will meet once a month at Nicole Harrington's house or another location as will be noted on the evite. Beginning time will be 7 pm. Bring your own supplies but there will be tools to share. Call Nicole at 440-937-3152 with any questions.
- Supper Club: Held every other month on a Saturday night. Each house hosts 4 couples, including the host couple. No children. Host supplies main dish. Guests BYOB and bring a side dish, appetizer, or dessert (to be determined by host). Theme will be chosen by host (i.e. Mexican, Italian, Fondue, etc.). Each couple will host before the end of the season. Couples will rotate houses on a schedule so that every couple dines with different groups throughout the season. Couples unable to attend are responsible to find their own subs (not the host). Please be courteous of the club members and make every attempt to find a sub to replace yourselves if needed.
